This is my first Black Screen Records purchase and hooo man am I very impressed with what I got. The poster is excellent and I really like the booklet interview that comes with it. The gatefold itself is really sturdy and has a nice finish. The records themselves came in really nice rice paper-lined inner sleeves while also being shipped in between the gatefold rather than inside it (to prevent damage). This record sounds soooo cleannn. Very little (if any) surface noise. No static. No pops or cracks.
Fangamer really delivered with some great packaging as well, bubble wrapping the entire thing to ensure its safety in the mail. Not to mention fast. I got my order less than a week after ordering.
Honestly the quality for the price can't be beat. I own some limited pressings that cost 4 times the amount this record that shipped with paper sleeves and have more surface noise. If you're a fan of VA-11 HALL-A and vinyl this is a must buy. Fantastic pressing.
Great music to chill to. Has a sort of lo-fi hiphop/citypop dynamic. Great art. The cover was a bit warped on arrival, but the album was in great condition. Just put the cover between some heavy books and came out fine.
The vinyls, the booklet, the download codes, everything was perfect. The poster was folded to store it obviously but the creases were noticeable and the white lines were a minor inconvenience. I still rate this a solid 10/10
Pick up Michael Kelly's amazing soundtrack on 180g black double vinyl from Black Screen Records, packaged with beautiful artwork by Christopher Ortiz, Koyorin, Grey Monarch, Tofu+Beast, Daniel Leander Goffin.
This repress also includes a one-sides A2 poster, a 12-inch booklet, as while as download codes for Prologue, Second Round, and the Bonus Track collection.
